5 minutes to get to know” you is an installation developed for the festival “Bairro em Festa” which was undergoing a continuous transformation throughout the period of the festival (one week). During the performance times, we invite participants to sit for 5 minutes in the place of the observed or as long as they wish in the place of the observer: to draw or be drawn. Drawing is the instrument for human connection, a profound way of knowing and empathizing with the other. The installation accumulated, over the time of the festival, the graphic records of the meetings which took place in the space.
